JSC Bank of Georgia (BOG)

Bank of Georgia as one of the country’s leading financial institution created an online platform – argacherde.ge, to support business sector. The purpose of the project is to provide support to business sector during Covid-19 pandemic, assist them to minimize financial damage and retain employees, increase awareness among their potential customers and provide motivation to continue functioning. 

The project started on April 1 2020 and is still going on. 

Any kind of business can be registered at argacherde.ge platform, whether they are involved in service or production sector. The platform enables them to offer their product or service to the customer at a special price in advance, while the customer, by purchase of products or services, has a chance to make its contribution to supporting the local business, also to exercise special discount after the Corona virus threat is reduced and eliminated. 

The project was designed in partnership with Livingston and Ecolise. 

The project is ongoing and as of today its results are as follows: registered business – 120; number of the vouchers sold – 1,132; total income – 154,763.
