From the very first day of Covid-19 outbreak in Georgia, one of the key priorities of RMG has been implementation of initiative supporting local community. The related activities planned by RMG in response to Covid-19 commenced to be implemented in March 2020 and are still in progress. 

The activities carried out in the region to support local communities included the following: social aids to vulnerable groups during the pandemic; taking care of local community members; caring about financial wellbeing of the community members left without income; support to the doctors and healthcare system in the country and especially, within the region of the company activities. 

As a result of initiatives implemented by the company to support the society and local communities, up to 500 socially vulnerable families in 7 villages of 3 municipalities of Kvemo Kartli region, during the effective strict regulations were provided with the primary need social packages. Over 200 local citizens employed by the contractor companies and sponsor clubs have been paid to date with monthly remuneration without delays. The company continued paying sponsorship fees to sports, cultural and educational courses and clubs whether they carry on functioning or not. The company provides financial support in order to strengthen Bolnisi central clinic and local outpatient clinic in Kazreti settlement, to ensure timely and efficient management of the pandemic; under this initiative 3 respiratory devices were purchased for Bolnisi clinic. 

The company was actively involved in funding urgent and efficient initiatives directed at supporting the society.
