GPI Holding
The pandemic has radically changed the employment market. The possibility of working remotely allowed people to find a job not only in Georgia, but also outside its borders. This created a shortage of new staff and increased competition for existing and experienced staff.
Realizing that an adequate response to the radical increase in the number of COVID-19 cases and the continuation of work in an intensive mode would not be possible without attracting new staff and maintaining existing and experienced employees, the management of GPI made a strategic decision in 2021 to continue the work process in a hybrid mode. This change gave the company the opportunity to offer flexible and comfortable working conditions for existing employees and to search for and remotely employ new employees not only in Tbilisi but countrywide. Due to the removal of the obligation to go to the office, non-adapted buildings were no longer a problem which made it possible to employ people with disabilities.
As a result of the implemented actions, the company employed 125 people, including 16 people living in the regions and four people with disabilities.
In addition, many important changes have been gradually implemented at GPI in terms of the renewal of motivation raising activities, pay rises and a variety and improvement of benefits. A number of events were also planned to motivate employees.
The company continuously works to create a dignified, people-oriented environment for everyone who is already working or who is going to start working at GPI.
