"Hilton Batumi"
During the first wave of the pandemic Hilton Batumi decided to take social responsibility and support elderly people, retirees, socially vulnerable and disabled citizens. The program called Travel With Purpose started in April and lasted two months. They partnered with the local government, the Ministry of Health and Social Care, Youth Regional Center and the Georgia Red Cross Society.
Hilton Batumi donated 4000 kg food and beverages to the Red Cross, helped prepare parcels of basic needs and distribute them to the families in Adjara region through the support of young volunteers.
Within this project, Hilton Batumi helped about 200 families in total. They gifted hotel night stay vouchers to the Red Cross volunteers and all the front line workers from NCDC in Batumi and Tbilisi. Special online workshop was delivered to the Red Cross volunteers about preparing for an interview and drafting CV.
