In particular, in January 2019, the company fully equipped the IA integrated day center, an association of persons with disabilities (PWDs), where disabled children have opportunities to develop their abilities. After completing the project, DIO stays in active communication with the day center in order to monitor its activity. The company believes that the IA day center will increase the self-confidence of disabled children and help them overcome the stigma and stereotypes existing in society.

DIO also financed the Kombinizona social enterprise which is the first sewing enterprise which sews clothes tailored and adjusted to PWDs as well as pregnant women.

In September 2019, DIO equipped the First Step non-governmental organization’s cottage with blinds and window covers. First Step serves more than 700 children with special needs every month.

DIO currently has one PWD employee.
