Let's Discover Georgia Together is a project of Hotsale.ge which started in 2022 and is still actively ongoing.
The main goal of the project is to introduce and popularize unknown places of Georgia while supporting local small and medium-sized businesses.
Let's Discover Georgia Together combines TV stories, articles, posts and raffles as a means of attracting the attention of the public of all generations.
The project has two main tasks:
- Economic promotion of local communities - despite the fact that Georgia is quite a popular country for tourists, there are still many locations with great tourist potential which can be turned into very profitable locations with little promotion. Business ventures in these places are a source of income for the local population.
- Increasing public awareness – the educational side of the project plays an important role in preserving, protecting and disseminating knowledge among society.
Within the framework of the project, information about specific, unknown or otherwise interesting places is disseminated to the public and then local businesses have the opportunity to communicate free-of-charge with the target audience in cooperation with the project.
In cooperation with several television stations, stories are created about interesting places unknown to the public and about small business in the same region.
The hotsale.ge website, which has 320,000 unique visitors, publishes monthly an educational article about Georgian resorts and small businesses located there.
During the summer, creative posts about touristic places in Georgia were made on the project’s Facebook page and we asked users to guess the location in the comments. The average engagement vis-à-vis these posts is 50,000-80,000. On average, up to 2,000 people take part in the contest.
After the start of the activities, the interest of companies in the regions to cooperate with the project increased by 30%.
In July 2022, the number of bookings received by local businesses through our website increased by 60% as compared to the previous year.
