Supporting Society / Specific Communities
In 2011, the company established the Natakhtari Foundation aiming at empowering adolescents in need of care and preparing them for independent living. Since 2012, the Foundation has provided support to over 500 beneficiaries, 300 of them were employed and over 270 received professional training. An individual development plan is worked out for each beneficiary and the money is allocated on the basis of specific needs.
Taking into account the goals of the Foundation, the support of adolescents continues until they become of age; consequently, when an 18+ beneficiary has no shelter and/or job, the Foundation provides an allowance to cover rent, utility services and transport costs. The project is being implemented together with association – Our House – with Georgia.
Since 2017, the Foundation, together with a public society organization Coalition for Children and Youth, has been involved in a campaign advocating the needs of beneficiaries such as adolescents outside of the healthcare system and people with special needs.
