Ana Shubitidze has been cooperating with the United Nations Development Program since 2009. Currently, she oversees the small grants program of the Global Environmental Fund which has been operating in Georgia since 2012 and aims to promote innovative, inclusive and replicable community-based initiatives, strengthen partnerships between various stakeholders and address global environmental challenges at the local level.

Prior to joining the United Nations Development Program, Ana worked for a number of international and national level organizations, including CARE Caucasus, IUCN and CNFA. She was in charge of managing and overseeing projects both in the environmental and agricultural fields. She also has experience in fundraising.

Ana Shubitidze holds a master's degree in environmental management and public administration from Lund University.
