Michal Kišša

Michal works as a Co-CEO of Pontis Foundation and also serves as a strategic advisor to Business Leaders Forum, the largest association of businesses in Slovakia focused on spreading principles of CSR in Slovakia, which he led as an Executive Director for over 4 years. For the last 13 years he has been focused on promoting CSR among Slovak companies, public institutions and facilitating cooperation between different sectors of society. He cooperated at several publications and training programs, such as „How to be successful? Do business in a responsible way!“, e-learning course for SMEs and also the draft of the National Strategy for Supporting Corporate Responsibility. He took part at the introduction of the Global Reporting Sustainability Guidelines in Slovakia.

Michal assisted several companies in creating their CSR strategies, CSR reports, stakeholder dialogues or audits, e.g. for Slovak Telekom, dm drogerie markt, Orange Slovensko, VÚB banka, Slovnaft, New World Resources, Accenture, Západoslovenská energetika, etc. He was also responsible for 9 annual editions of the CEE CSR Summit, the largest CEE event on sustainability.

Michal holds Master degree in Political Sciences and English Language and Literature.
