There is a tradition that takes place every second year at the BDO company that the budget intended for New Year's gifts is instead directed to various projects on behalf of clients and partners within the framework of the company's social responsibility. 

Considering the developments in Ukraine, it was decided that the social project for the year would be related to this issue. The #Onmybehalf project was born with the purpose of supporting Georgian military families who fought and died heroically in Ukraine. 

The project started in February 2022 and lasted for 1.5 years. 

The project focused on the families of Georgian soldiers who fought and died heroically in Ukraine 

Initially, it was planned to help the families of 19 servicemen. Unfortunately, the number of deaths during the project increased to 25. According to the decision of BDO management, the project budget was increased and GEL 50,000 was distributed equally to the families of the deceased. 

The employees of the company understood well that we could not get long-term results with one-time support. The company’s clients and partners were also encouraged to participate. Therefore, it was decided to shoot a video clip to motivate others to join by raising public awareness. 

We hoped that #Onmybehalf would be a kind of inspiration for many people and organizations which would provide support to these families in various ways.
