Since 2021, NaturPharma’s partner company Weleda has been running an active campaign about saving the face of the Earth. The idea of sharing responsibility for the planet was born in early 2022 with the idea to raise awareness about ecological threats in Georgia. NaturPharma LCC’s idea was to protect the soil or the “face of the Earth” which is a current and serious challenge facing the planet.

Within the campaign, a three-day seminar was held on November 17-19, 2022. Educational institutions and people interested in ecology, health, healthy food, the protection of biodiversity and the production of biological fertilizers attended the seminar.

The seminars took place in Tbilisi and the village of Matsevani. The Parsifal educational space located in the village of Matsevani hosted the practical part of the project which included demonstrating the composting of household waste and the visual and functional identification of eroded and healthy soils. The theoretical part of the seminar was held in Tbilisi.

Apart from the practical and theoretical importance of the project, attention was also paid to the timeliness of the issue, creating a change in attitude towards the environment, daily eco-awareness and the promotion of NaturPharma and Weleda as companies promoting a high environmental responsibility and following ethical principles in order to solve global environmental problems. Most of the participants pointed out that the information gained at the seminar triggered new thinking in terms of their attitudes and everyday behavior, something which indeed was the main objectives of the project.
