The company has a plan to dispose zero waste in landfills by 2025. To achieve this goal, the company has been implementing various initiatives in this direction since 2020. 

In 2022, the company defined a project team which was responsible for the implementation of the landfill project. The objective of the project is to prevent the company's used and written-off electronic items from being discarded in landfills. 

A complete recycling of computer and other related products is not possible in Georgia and so the company started a partnership with the international UAE company which has broad expertise in PC waste recycling. UAE provides services in compliance with global standards and requirements with a 100% guarantee that they use the electronic items for recycling purposes. 

The project is a long-term initiative. Currently, PepsiCo managed to prevent 550 kg of technical and hazardous waste from being send to landfills, thereby protecting both the environment and society from the harmful results of waste.
