TBC BANK

The TBC for Business program has been implemented since 2015 and serves the purpose of supporting small and medium-size businesses in Georgia in the following directions: education, consulting, encouragement, awareness raising and networking.

The program includes several large-scale initiatives. One of them is the Business Award which is being held for the third time this year. Its purpose is to encourage original and innovative ideas, create a business communication platform for businessmen, introduce distinguished businesses to the public and attract skilled staff. Within the framework of the program, the tbcbusiness.ge website was created. This is an educational resource for small and medium-sized business owners, their employees and any other representatives of the general public with an interest in the field. As a part of the educational program for small and medium-size business, TBC Bank offers representatives of the business world 18 types of business training, individual consultation platforms and participation in regional agricultural and business forums.

TBC Bank is implementing the project in partnership with the Asian Development Bank and the European Fund EFSE. It should be noted that the number of participants in the Business Award has doubled in two years and exceeded 1,000 this year in comparison to 523 in the previous year. Atotal of 4,572 individuals have undergone trainings, 50 consultations were conducted, start-up master classes were attended by 160 people, 230 people attended agricultural forums in six cities in Georgia and 250 people attended the business forum in Batumi.
