TBC BANK

The Write in the Georgian Alphabet project was launched in 2015 and is still in progress. It is a combination of several initiatives aimed at integrating the Georgian alphabet into the digital world with the aim of promoting the Georgian alphabet for its use in the digital space. Accordingly, TBC Bank began working in three directions: 1. Focusing the public's attention on the necessity for writing in the Georgian alphabet, 2. Supporting the development of digital fonts and 3.

Full-scale integration of the Georgian alphabet and the Georgian language into the international online space in cooperation with Microsoft. The main target groups of the project were citizens of Georgia and Georgians residing abroad. Within the framework of the project, the largest Georgian-English dictionary was digitalized and the rst font competition was held which resulted in the digitalization of 13 new Georgian fonts. More than 50 young people acquired a new profession – font engineering – free-of-charge as a result of the project. In addition, the rst Georgian articial intelligence platform, kartulad.ge, was created in cooperation with Microsoft within the framework of which the number of translated sentences will soon exceed 100,000. Afterwards, Microsoft's articial intelligence platform will start "studying" the Georgian language in order to fully integrate it into the modern online world.

In addition, Microsoft was given a database of over 3 million sentences from Saba Electronic Books. Besides the abovementioned results, 65% of communication in the Georgian language is already performed in the Georgian alphabet. The hashtag #WriteinGeorgianAlphabet (#წერექართულად) was used more than 400,000 times
