Three years ago, Irao initiated the project " Protect, Recycle, Rescue!", addressing one of the most critical challenges of our era – environmental protection. The project is part of the company's long-term CSR strategy and its goal is to change environmental behavior and raise awareness, create a green office, and properly manage waste.

The initial phase of the project commenced in 2021, with ongoing activities conducted annually. In 2023, IRAO's sustainable development project encompassed the following initiatives:

Environmental superheroes - fun and interactive "green lessons" for elementary school students.

Environmental cleaning - cleaning of different areas from harmful waste by employees of IRAO.

Eco competition - IRAO announced the largest eco-marathon among employees, in which about 300 employees of IRAO participated for a month.

Certain initiatives of the project were implemented in collaboration with non-governmental organizations CENN (Caucasus Environmental Non-Governmental Organization Network) and SADAG (Georgian Cleaners' Guild).

Environmental initiatives have significantly reduced the use of plastic in all IRAO offices and service centers. As a result of optimizing garbage cans, the consumption of polyethylene bags was reduced by 33,120 units per year. During the one-month eco-competition implemented in 2023, IRAO employees collectively: submitted 900 kg of used paper, up to 100 batteries, and 300 kg of used plastic; conducted eco-friendly lessons in 11 schools; cleaned 21 areas in 6 regions; actively embraced public transport; and produced outstanding art pieces through the creative reuse of discarded items.

Since 2018, "IRAO" has been undertaking projects aimed at reducing environmental pollution and minimizing waste. Starting from 2022, "Irao" collaborates with its partners in efforts to clean specific areas from harmful waste, consistently implements measures to minimize plastic and polyethylene waste in office spaces, and has achieved impressive results.
