Tegeta Holding

With the idea of caring for the environment, Tegeta Holding contributes to the development of an environmentally friendly and green automobile industry with international standard, energy-efficient infrastructure projects. For this purpose, the Tegeta and Volvo Car Georgia service centers were opened in 2023. An ultra-modern, multi-functional automobile complex that responds to a number of challenges and problems in today's environment:

  • 762 units of solar panels were arranged on the territory of the complex (627 on the roof of Tegeta and Volvo centers, and 135 on the parking lot), outdoor lights with solar panels were installed on the territory, and 5 electric chargers were placed on the site. The project was implemented in partnership with USAID.
  • Energy and resource efficient construction materials and approaches are used in Tegeta buildings.
  • Separate collection of waste was introduced at the facility. The planning of the process was carried out in partnership with companies with relevant qualifications and permits, including: the organization "Green Planet" (subsidiary of Tegeta); Association of Extended Liability of Georgian Producers", "Black Sea Waste Management LLC" and others.

As a result of the implementation of modern energy-efficient technologies, 75% of the electricity consumed by the complex is generated by solar panels, through the ultra-modern water filtration system, 60% of the water resources used annually are saved. As a result of the implementation of a number of technical and process innovations, the service time has been reduced by 50%.

In addition to energy-efficient constructions, Tegeta, for the purpose of environmental protection, implements a number of projects in the following directions:

  1. A sustainable transport solution to achieve zero emissions
  2. Waste management
  3. Raising environmental awareness.
