TBC Bank

It is important for TBC to inform customers, partners, suppliers, employees, investors and wider circles of society about the Bank's activities and its social, economic and environmental impact. Accordingly, in the sustainability report, TBC talks about its values and corporate culture, how it conducts responsible business, how it communicates with stakeholders, how it cares for employees and different groups of society and how it tries to contribute to the sustainable development of the country.

TBC's ESG Coordination Department worked on the 2021 sustainability report. Prior to publication, the report was reviewed and approved by the management and supervisory board. The report is compiled according to GRI standards. It provides information on the progress made towards the UN Global Compact and the UN Principles for the Empowerment of Women. The company ensures that the language used in the report does not contain potential stereotypes or discrimination. Affirmative visual material has been selected to complement the report, particularly in relation to diversity, gender and environmental issues. The initial version of the report was prepared in English and then translated and published on the Georgian version of the TBC website.

The presentation of the completed report and the discussion of its individual aspects took place during an annual event traditionally hosted by the CEO of TBC and attended by the bank's employees, customers, local and international partners, representatives of financial and state institutions, the media and other interested parties.
