Alte University

The Entrants Club is a project of Alte University whose purpose is to help entrants throughout Georgia in socializing, choosing a profession and preparing for the unified national exams. Club membership allows any high school student to participate in professional orientation meetings, workshops, mock exams, stress management trainings, intellectual games, cognitive projects, educational competitions and camps with a view to having a more interesting and less stressful educational experience. Any high school student from anywhere in Georgia can become a member of the club for free, online or in person.

The club actively cooperates with each school of Alte University and activities are planned for club members with the support of the university and various international and leading local organizations.

A preliminary study was conducted at the regional level to find out if such a club already existed. The project has a Facebook group which enables automatic club membership when following the page.

The club has more than 2,400 students whose number is increasing day by day in Tbilisi and in the regions. The club has about 30 ambassadors whose goal is to share information in their circles and encourage them to join the club.

The project team consists of seven people. Their activity is a circular chain that is constantly active and always takes into account the implementation of interesting activities in a specific region or in an online format. Activities are planned with the involvement of interested persons as well as with so-called Thought Leaders. A number of interesting meetings with successful individuals have been gradually implemented and are still being organized. This type of experience sharing is very important, especially for entrants and high school seniors who are now thinking about their future profession.

The project is ongoing with the active involvement of Alte University schools: IT School, School of Business, School of Law, International School of Medicine and School of Information Technologies. The club has active cooperation with Alte University Digital Transformation Center.

Since the beginning of the project, more than 2,400 people have become members of the Entrants Club who are involved in online or in person meetings or other cognitive-educational activities. Information meetings were held in six big cities of Georgia vis-à-vis the club and are still taking place in order to promote the project.

The project brought real change to those students who did not have the opportunity to participate in similar events.

There are plans to expand the club and add more activities.

"Our philosophy as an organization is based on the idea of continuous development. We believe that the university, as an educational space, has the obligation to take care not only of its students in a specific period of time but also of graduates and schoolchildren - potential students. Unfortunately, the majority of applicants do not have access to all of the necessary resources to develop relevant skills and so we try to fully fill this gap for them so that they are prepared to face a completely new stage of life," Manager of PR and Marketing Department of Alte University.
