The labor market of Georgia cannot meet the demand for personnel with technical skills and relevant education which is one of the decisive factors hindering the production business in the country.
In 2022, PepsiCo Georgia launched a three-year Functional Schools project whose goal is to expand the company's milk production capabilities.
At this stage, the School of Microbiologists, the School of Laboratory Technicians and the School of Service Engineers are already functioning. According to the plan, the School of Technologists and the School of Electricians will also be launched in 2023.
Both newly hired employees and previously employed personnel will be trained in the schools. The company's internal experts and trainers will help new employees acquire relevant theoretical knowledge and develop practical skills. For existing employees, this is an excellent opportunity to upgrade or change their qualifications, improve their skills and increase their well-being to become more competitive in the labor market.
