Geo Mulch

Geo Mulch is an enterprise that produces dyed and undyed mulch.

Within the framework of the project, the company has been cooperating with the State Wildlife Agency LEPL from 2022 to date. Wood material left over from tree cutting is collected from the Agency’s territory and then processed. The obtained and processed raw materials are then transferred to the production area where they go through the composting process and reach the final form of the product as a result of secondary and tertiary processing.

In 2022, the company collected up to 700 cubic meters of wood waste and produced up to 500 cubic meters of bio-organic mulch which was successfully used in different regions of Georgia.

This process develops the production of biologically clean and highly competitive products and promotes the restoration of degraded soils which will subsequently lead to an increase in the motivation of employees in rural areas for organic production and positively affect their income as well as contribute to the annual quantitative growth of employees.

In the future, given climate change, it will become necessary to use bio-bacterial fertilizers on  agricultural land. In this regard, the novel fertilizer we created represents the future of restoring degraded soil and improving the health and immunity of plants and crops.
