JSC GREENWAY GEORGIA

According to the law on the mandatory periodic technical inspection of vehicles, technical personnel must have the relevant higher education or at least one year of working experience in this sphere. This requirement made it difficult to find eligible women candidates and, therefore, the company launched the Equal Opportunities program in February 2019. Women hired under this program are employed as paid interns for a period of one year and after a successful completion of the internship, they will be transferred to the position of inspectors.

At present, only five women are employed in the company but as the project continues the company hopes that it will provide more women with the possibility of training and professional growth.

All of Greenway Georgia’s service centers are adjusted for persons with disabilities; under the Equal Opportunities project, Greenway’s door is open to all applicants. As of now, Greenway has four employees with disabilities.
