At Mr. Weller’s initiative, a leadership program was launched, involving over 35 young people. A number of different meetings, oriented at the development of young leader skills and competences, are organized under its framework. Apart from this, Hilton together with GIZ and the Black Sea Professional College, is implementing professional training programs. A Blue Energy committee is functioning at the hotel under Torsten’s leadership, planning and carrying out various social activities. Through the committee’s efforts, Hilton started recycling soap waste and the output product will be delivered to orphanages and families in need. The hotel also recycles paper as a means of environment protection. To date, two tons of paper have been recycled for secondary utilization. Torsten continually works to take care of team development and professional growth. Currently, the hotel employs nine disabled persons. Along with the above-mentioned programs, Hilton supports children and persons of special needs with toys, sweets and other necessary items on various occasions.
