At this stage, as a result of the project’s implementation, 14% of the water consumed by the head office is rain water which is used for technical purposes after a necessary filtration. Taking into account that the head office now consumes 600m3 less water per year from the city’s water supply system, the impact on the environment has decreased which, at the same time, is a tangible financial savings. The idea of using rain water was also offered to the Bank’s clients, especially the hotels in the Black Sea region. After obtaining more statistics, the Bank will create demonstration materials and share them with all stakeholders.

An important result is raising public awareness through a real, successful example of water conservation. In 2019, during environmental trainings, 242 employees of the Bank were informed about the project’s results.
