As part of the campaign, on the last Friday of every month Irao employees do not drive by car but use public transport, bike or walk. Over the past year, 260 employees of Irao have walked a total 130,404 kilometers, saving the amount of oxygen consumed by 6,250 people in 24 hours. At this point, A Day without a Car has become part of Irao’s organizational culture with employees actively communicating through social networks, giving campaign information to up to 300,000 people.

In the city, the campaign is going on with the hashtag #What if you move around without a car? and through various outdoor activities. In 2019, it was joined by celebrities and the local representation Willis Towers Watson office. Next year, through a special telephone application, Irao plans to get more people involved in the campaign.
