Pontis Foundation is a largest grant-making foundation in Slovakia, which works to achieve positive changes in the fields of education, inclusion, transparency, community, diversity, corporate responsibility and sustainability.

Martina Kolesarova has worked at Pontis Foundation for four years. She was responsible for supporting social innovation and pro bono ecosystems in the country and managed fundraising activities and operations of the Foundation. Later on Martina became a Program Director and lead teams with programs in education, social inclusion, and strategic philanthropy. In September 2019, she became Co-CEO of the Foundation and since then is responsible for the strategic development of the organization, working with major donors and specializing in strategic philanthropy and social innovation.

Before joining Pontis, Martina was responsible for designing and supervising NGO projects in renewable energy, which included communication with state authorities and media. She also worked at corporate social responsibility consultancy in Tel Aviv and served as senior volunteer at Ashoka Foundation during her temporary stay in Washington, D.C. In 2023 she became Obama Leader Europe.
