Staffan Söderberg
Head of Sustainability, Stenvalvet, Sweden
Staffan holds an M. Sc. in Nature Conservation Biology from Lund University and an M. Sc. In Human Ecology from Vrije Universiteit Brussels. After many years with the multinational construction company Skanska, having held positions such as Environmental Manager and Sustainability Manager at the group’s headquarters, he worked for WWF Sweden as Director of Corporate Partnerships.
Staffan was involved in the development of several ISO standards and was the International Vice Chair for the Development of ISO 26000 Guidance on Social Responsibility, the largest stakeholder consultation in ISO so far, as well as the national chair of the ISO 20400 Sustainable Procurement Standard. Staffan has worked as a consultant and has had assignments for Volvo, ISO and Civil Rights Defenders as well as for municipalities and universities, in more than 25 countries. He is currently working as the Head of Sustainability at a real estate company in Sweden.
