UN Women is the sponsor of Georgia's responsible business awards, Meliora 2024.
UN Women is the United Nations entity dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women. A global champion for women and girls, UN Women was established to accelerate progress on meeting their needs worldwide.
It should be noted that the topic of gender equality has been incorporated into three categories of the contest:
- Responsible Employer
- Responsibility in the Marketplace
- Supporting Communities
The Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) is hosting Meliora for the fifth time, and applications will be accepted until February 20.

The Awards will be held within the frameworks of the European Union (EU) and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) funded project ‘Civil Society STAR Initiative: CSOs as Sustainable, Transparent, Accountable and Resilient Development Actors in Georgia”.
