Applications for Georgia's responsible business awards Meliora 2024 have begun!
The Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG), with the support of the European Union, is hosting the contests for the fifth year.
Meliora offers a unique opportunity for businesses to showcase their CSR initiatives, gain recognition for outstanding achievements, and contribute to raising awareness of CSR while establishing high standards for sustainable development.
The Contests has been developed in collaboration with experts from leading European organizations in the field of CSR (Pontis Foundation, Slovakia და Business in the Community, the Prince’s Responsible Business Network, UK).
With flexible conditions and various CSR categories, the competition invites businesses to participate, which you can find on our website. Winners will be announced at the awarding ceremony.
Nominees will be assessed by an independent jury comprised of prominent Georgian and foreign experts, aiming to identify the best CSR initiatives based on pre-established criteria. It is noteworthy that the financial investment in the project will not be the sole decisive criterion for evaluation.
Companies of any size operating within the country are eligible to participate in the competition.
Please be aware that the deadline for applications is February 20.
The Awards will be held within the frameworks of the European Union (EU) and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) funded project ‘Civil Society STAR Initiative: CSOs as Sustainable, Transparent, Accountable and Resilient Development Actors in Georgia”.
