Basisbank

Basisbank has always demonstrated a high level of social responsibility. One of the company’s priorities in this regard is caring for vulnerable groups in society and addressing their needs through various projects.

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Basisbank and the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG). This partnership aims to strengthen social enterprises operating in Georgia and promote the development of the social entrepreneurship concept. Basisbank supports these goals through both financial and technical assistance mechanisms.

To strengthen existing social enterprises, Basisbank announced a grant competition aimed at increasing access to employment and education for persons with disabilities and special needs. The winner of the grant competition was the "Union of Employment of Persons with Disabilities," an organization actively involved in the entrepreneurship development and economic empowerment of disabled persons.

In addition to providing financial resources, Basisbank contributed technical support. The bank's marketing staff trained the company's employees in sales and social media management, which were crucial for brand promotion and increasing product sales.

Within the framework of the project, the enterprise achieved the set goals: after a 2-year break, production was resumed, the necessary equipment and quality materials were purchased to increase the quality of products and save time resources.

Results of project implementation:

  • The enterprise's technical base was updated.
  • Increased awareness and attracted additional users through distribution of clips and media activities.
  • Produced 70 pairs of shoes, selling 27 pairs (21 pairs for women and 6 pairs for men).

Earned 3,000 GEL in sales revenue and plans to earn an additional 4,900 GEL after selling the remaining 43 pairs.
