In recent years, Nexia TA has expanded significantly due to which the demand for qualified personnel has increased in the company.
Among the company's policy, particular attention is paid to taking care of the development of employees and considering their rotation or promotion first in the case of vacancies. Since more than 100 of the company's 250 employees are employed in the accounting and reporting department, the demand for rotation/promotion is especially high in this department.
In response to this challenge, the company has been implementing a training and retraining project since 2021 which includes two programs. Within the framework of the first program, applicants are hired for internships, retrained and then employed in the position of an assistant accountant. The purpose of the second program is to train accountants and assistant accountants after which they can be promoted to the positions of chief accountant and accountant, respectively. The programs are led by managers with many years of experience in various areas. Participants have the opportunity to gain theoretical knowledge and analyze relevant practical examples together with the managers as instructors.
The project contributes to the employment of new qualified personnel in the company and the development and career advancement of existing employees. In 2022, 14 people were retrained and seven of them were promoted. Due to the possibility of development and promotion, the project had a positive effect on the motivation of all employees.
In the future, there are plans to invest more resources in the project and periodically update the training modules.
