EUROSTEEL

The company's general policy is to actively address key nation-wide challenges and develop projects that benefit the environment and people. Based on these objectives, the company has been actively implementing the– Books in Exchange for Waste Paper project.

The steps of the project’s implementation are quite simple and include the involvement of all office employees. The company collects used paper over several months and then exchanges it for books (using a point-based system) and gives them to employees in turn. This small activity contributes to the tremendously important cause of reducing paper production and recycling resources.

With this project, staff unified around a common goal and the company's teamwork quality improved even further.

In the past, the company had always properly disposed of its waste materials. However, the project made greater use of the  waste in the form of books for employees.  A total of 98% of employees have already received books. The activity will continue in the next year.
