GEO MULCH
Namely, the company will produce mulch from tree residue which can then be spread over soil surfaces as a covering for agricultural, decorative and environmental protection purposes.
Within the framework of the project, the GEO Mulch working team has been regularly going to implement field work oriented on collecting and removing residue generated as a result of cutting down trees and plants as well as the trees that have dried or fallen down. As of now, tens of hectares of forest have been cleaned from tree residue. GEO Mulch started the patented process of producing bio-organic mulch from biologically clean raw materials collected in the forest.
In partnership with the Solid Waste Management Association of Georgia, GEO Mulch is having an active communication with Tbilisi City Hall that has recognized the importance of the issue and expressed its readiness to adopt the resolution based upon which it will become possible to reprocess municipal tree residue through auction.
