Staffan Söderberg

Sustainability Consultant, AMAP Sustainability, Sweden

Staffan holds a M. Sc. in Nature Conservation Biology from Lund University and M. Sc. In Human Ecology from Vrije Universiteit Brussel. After many years with the multinational construction company Skanska, having held positions such as environmental manager and sustainability manager at group headquarters, he worked for WWF Sweden as Director of Corporate Partnerships.

Staffan was involved in the development of several ISO standards and was the international vice chair for the development of ISO 26000 Guidance on Social Responsibility, the largest stakeholder consultation in ISO so far, as well as the national chair of ISO 20400 Sustainable Procurement Standard. 

Today Staffan works as a consultant and has had assignments for Volvo, ISO, Civil Rights Defenders, municipalities, Universities, Jordan Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, inter alia, in more than 25 countries. He is currently working as Head of Sustainability at a real estate company in Sweden, chairing the Quality Authorization Board for private adult education, and assisting several NGOs in developing their institutional governance.
