Elaine Cohen has over 30 years of business and sustainability management experience, including 8 years as a Supply Chain Executive with Procter and Gamble in Europe, and 8 years as a country VP Human Resources and Corporate Responsibility with Unilever.

Since 2005, Elaine provides strategic consulting and sustainability reporting and training services. Elaine is a regular writer on her CSR and Sustainability Reporting Blog, a frequent conference chair and speaker and the author of three books on sustainability.

She is founder and head of the organization Beyond Business which is a specialist CSR consulting and sustainability reporting firm offering sustainability services to clients around the world. Consulting company supports sustainability strategy development, sustainability communications, stakeholder engagement, materiality mapping, reporting, assurance and benchmarking. Beyond Business is especially known for its sustainability reporting expertise and have supported clients in delivering more than 75 reports since 2007, mostly GRI-based reports.

Elaine was named as one of Trust Across America's top 100 Thought Leaders of Trustworthy business in 2017 and as a Lifetime Achievement honoree. In 2018 Elaine was named by Onalytica as one of the top sustainability professionals in the world (Top 20).
